On Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging:
Hi friend,
If you look similar to me or just happen to be a little different (or as I like to say: unique), I know that you may have experienced some form of discrimination, injustice, or bias. If you have, I want to start off by saying that I am sorry to hear about the pain and trauma you have experienced – although saying sorry does not justify the pain you have experience, it is an expression of my understanding of the factors at play that enabled it.
Over the past few years, some organizations and leaders have openly stated that systemic injustice and prejudice do not exist and that admitting to it causes greater division. Whole Person Institute is not one of them and will never be. I am fully aware of the challenges you may face. My hope is to warmly welcome individuals from all walks of life, ethnicities, beliefs, and backgrounds and create a safe and welcoming environment through equitable content and insightful strategies, to enable a thriving, peace-filled, joyful community. This strategy includes acknowledging and understanding the uniqueness of each individual, with a specific understanding of underrepresented talent and the challenges they face in the workplace.
This includes but is not limited to individuals who:
- Identify as People of Color, American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander, Two or More Races, Other.
- Identify as Neurodivergent
- Identify as Asexual, Bisexual, Gay, Heterosexual, Lesbian, Pansexual, Queer, Transgender, Other.
- Live with a disability, or have a history of a disability
- Were Veterans/have served in the Military, Religious Workers, Stay-at-Home Moms

This is a safe space for you, friend. You are loved and belong here.
With love and light,
.
